kinase inhibitor. Veenat is used for the treatment of a type of leukemia
(chronic myeloid leukemia or cml), gastrointestinal stromal tumors (gist’s - a
type of tumor that grows in the walls of the digestive passages and may spread
to other parts of the body). Veenat may also be used to prevent cancer from
growing in patients after surgical removal of gist.
